In college, she gained an interest in local ghost stories, which fuels her writing inspiration. She’s a huge fan of boiled peanuts, craft beer, and pimento cheese sandwiches. When she’s not losing herself in writing, she’s purposely getting lost inside a thrift store or bookstore. She grew up reading Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, and Anne McCaffrey. Jacy lives in the Charlotte, NC area with her husband, two kids, and an overly social cat.

She’s a member of Sisters in Crime and represented by Jana Hanson of the Metamorphosis Literary Agency.
